Description
My wife and I took a short backpacking trip to this little lovely meadow on the East side of Three Fingered Jack. Unfortunately, we were too early for wildflowers in the upper meadow, so we camped near the lower meadow. Where the mosquitos were RELENTLESS! I had every inch of my skin covered and dowsed in bug spray, and they still wouldn’t give up! They were even biting through my gloves! Taking pictures only distracted me for so long. A doe even wandered into this scene and I took some shots while she held still long enough for some long exposures. But, needless to say, we spent most of our time in our tent.
