Description
There’s something almost peaceful about climbing in the dark on a rope team. You’re too far away to visit with anyone, you can only see a few feet in front of you, and you can only hear the snow crunching under your crampons. It’s easy to not pay attention to the steep slop you’re on and how far you’ve actually gone. Then there are sunrises like this at 12,000 ft high above the clouds. So rejuvinating at the right time.
