This is one of my favorite waterfalls in the gorge. I think it’s a lot of people’s favorite. It’s tucked away amongst beautiful trees and the wide cascade gives it a lot of character. The creek below this falls is quite beautiful too. This was the first time re-visiting this falls since I had arrived back in Oregon after moving to Florida. And the first time I had seen how much this place has permenantly changed. A creek junction below this falls had a massive tree fall across it knocking another tree over, taking away so much beauty from that scene. I am just so glad I had the chance to photograph it before it changed. This world is so dynamic, it won’t wait for you to go see it.
