Jeff and I barely made it for this amazing sunrise over Trillium Lake and Mt Hood. We left his place in Wilsonville at 5am. This color seemed to start early with a pre-show at 6am when we were still about a half hour away. Mere minutes after we arrived, this extremely vibrant color started. It was cold, but we still found about a dozen other photographers along the lakeshore. We really lucked out with this sunrise. I revisted Trillium a week later and this scene had changed completely. I love that about Oregon, how fleeting our seasons really can be.
