HIking up here, a couple guys hiking down said they did their ALS ‘ice bucket’ challenge by plunging into this lake. Probably not the smartest thing, but that challenge could not have been beaten easily! These floating chunks of ice hung out where the water exited the lake into Broken Top Creek. I walked over here from our campsite just before sunrise to get this shot.
