I was very surprised to find this small bunch of wildflowers on this lakeshore in mid September. At this altitude (7,500 ft) most of the landscape had turned brown, yellow, or orange. But these guys were holding strong! It hadn’t really gotten cold up here yet, either. So, I took the chance to makea few photos of their view of Eagle Cap. Wish I could just sit here with them for months and watch the seasons change across this landscape.
