Description
I had no idea Trinidad, California even existed until I was researching places to shoot near the Redwoods on Google Earth for our anniversary trip in June. Beautiful, rocky coastline filled with sea stacks and the brightest blue water I have seen on the Pacific Coast. Of course, you can’t really tell how blue the water is from this shot….because it’s masked by that glorious sunset! My wife and I arrived at this beach about an hour and a half before sunset so that I would have time to scout a specific location to shoot. Glad I did because once this color ignited, it was quick! I was surprised that there weren’t any other photographers shooting on this beach. It was relaxing not to have to worry about comp-stomping or wandering into any one else’s shot.
