Description
My new favorite National Park, Glacier! For this leg of our journey, my wife and I actually had company! Friends and family from Oregon and Idaho camped four days with us in this beautiufl place. During our stay, we hiked 30+ miles, saw mountain goats and bears, and just enjoyed the glacier-carved mountains. We spent most of our time in this area, Many Glacier. On this particular morning, my friend Jeff Barnhart and I were met with dense fog at camp and at Swiftcurrent Lake. So, we opted to drive toward the edge of the park and as the fog became more and more thin, the morning started to come. We decided to park at this random trailhead and hiked about a half a mile to this meadow. The fog was still quite thick, but we patiently waited as the sun rose and the fog lowered to reveal this amazing view.
