I have shot from this bridge overlooking an intersection of I5 and downtown Seattle before, so I knew what to expect and where to go. But I didn’t remember the bridge shake being so significant. I suppose because of how this bridge was constructed, traveling at an upward angle, any time any vehicle drives on it, the whole thing shakes a few inches. As you can imagine, that made it very difficult to shoot long exposures of the lights. For this shot, I was able to get 30 seconds of minimal shaking.
