My friends Jeff Barnhart and Nicole Coppi joined me once again for the last sunrise of our stay in Glacier National Park. We drove from our campsite in Many Glacier to this viewpoint overlooking Wild Goose Island. Given these thick clouds and intermittent rain showers, we thought we might’ve been screwed out of a decent sunrise so we hung out in the car until we saw this color starting to light up the clouds. I think that was the fastest I ever got my gear set up. This light and the clouds moved so quickly, this scene only lasted mere minutes. Then there was a rainbow! I have finally finished processing my shots from my 10,000 mile road trip. My wife and I made some lifetime memories during our two months on the road and the beautiful places we saw will be plastered in my mind forever.
