Description

My brother and I spent a night backpacking to this high like near Copper Basin while shooting scenes for a friend. This was a tough hike! 6.5 miles up a steep 3,500 feet elevation gain trail to our campsite on this lake at nearly 10,000 feet. We barely made it just before the sun started to set and were ecstatic to see this fire ring all made up. Wood was scarce, but we were determined to get a warm fire going.
