My first time visiting Mt Rainier during wildflower season. Okay, I actually spent about 4 days here in August several years ago, but it rainier the entire time and I never saw the mountain. Conditions for this visit were perfect! I met my friend Jeff Barnhart up here later in the evening, but I spent some time just hiking around paradise all by myself. Clouds shrouded the mountain most of the time, but that provided for some interesting light to the South on the Tatoosh Mountains.
